Asking for a spot can be awkward, especially at the gym, but SpotMax helps you get that out of your head and into your reps.
SpotMax’s ergonomic design minimizes risk of injury to both lifter and spotter by significantly reducing the strength and energy needed to step in and assist with the weight.
When looking for a spotter, you can lose your motivation by having to ask a stranger in the gym to hover nearby while you wrestle through your reps. With SpotMax, anyone can be your spotter.
Push past your limits while maintaining proper form through a full range of motion. Increase reps, weight, and confidence with SpotMax.
Use SpotMax for squats, benches, deadlifts, presses, curls, and more.

Use SpotMax to bench press, squat, military press, curl, incline bench, decline bench, and more.
When the spotting bar is not in use it is safely resting on 2 J hooks up and out of the way.
Available in 7’, 8’, 9’, 10’, 11’, 12’ (all black)
There are 6 SpotMax Base Straps ranging from 7’ to 12’ in 1-foot increments. Thelength that’s right for you is determined by your rack height and the components mounted to it. You can easily swap out Base Straps to adjust the height of the spotting bar, or attach a SpotMax Extension Strap to fine-tune the bar height.
Available in 1’ White, 1.5’ Green, 2’ Yellow, 2.5’ Blue, 3’ Red
There are 5 SpotMax Extension Straps that range from 1’ to 3’ in 6-inch increments. With the ability to attach or detach in an instant, Extension Straps come in handy when the lift changes or your spotter’s height doesn’t match up to the height of the spotting bar.
For instance, you might use the 2’ Extension Strap when benching, but when you switch to squats (which has a different range of motion) you could quickly swap in the 1’ Extension Strap. Similarly, if your spotter on the bench is 5’10” and your spotter during squats is 6’3”, they can quickly change their Extension Strap to match their height and vantage point.

“…so I’m usually lifting alone. Before I discovered SpotMax, I rarely if ever maxed out my lifts, because I had no one strong enough to spot me. SpotMax solved that problem, and I just hit multiple PRs!”
Tom McFadden, San Diego
“I’ve been using SpotMax for a few months and I’ll never go back. Getting that smooth support is helping me crank out a few extra reps when I used to rack it.”
Eli Hameline, San Diego

You can rig up the SpotMax to support you in almost any lift you conduct under your square beam rack. This includes, but is not limited to, squats, bench, deadlifts, presses, curls, incline bench, decline bench, and more.
Almost anyone can be a spotter with SpotMax. The ability to lift weight is still needed, but not nearly as much as traditional spotting requires. The SpotMax enables the spotter to stay upright, in an ergonomic position, more capable to assist with the weight at any given time.
The SpotMax makes it easier for your spotter to assist you when desired and easier to get out of the way when you want 100% off the weight. It’s a better way to lift.
